The municipality of Fisterra is located on the western side of the province of A Coru\u00f1a, in Galicia, a distance of about 100 kilometers from the city of Santiago de Compostela and to 108 kilometers of A Coruna. Fisterra has an area of approximately 30 square kilometers and a population of about 5,042 inhabitants.<\/p>\n

Fisterra, like many of the Galician territories, is distributed in 4 parish entities: San Marti\u00f1o de Duio, San Vicente de Duio, Nosa Se\u00f1ora das Areas Fisterra and San Xo\u00e1n de Sardi\u00f1eiro. Etymologically, as is known, this seemed to be for the ancient Romans, the End of the Road, finis terrae.<\/p>\n
